MY SERVICES

Helping You Help Your Pet

CONSULTATION

If you are looking for help for basic training and/or have some minor questions you would like to talk through-scheduling a consultation may be the best step for you. Consultations are not the same as training sessions, they are intended for basic training such as sit, stay, lay down, etc. Sessions can be done in your home or in a public park, with personalized plans to fit your pet’s needs and your lifestyle. Consultations are 30 minutes long and cost $25. I offer sessions in the following neighborhoods: Ballard, Capitol Hill, East Lake, Fremont, Green Lake, Hawthorne Hills, Lake City, Laurelhurst, Maple Leaf, Phinney Ridge, Queen Anne, Ravenna, University District, and Wallingford. Visit: My Schedule to see my availability!

TRAINING

My training style involves an intimate understanding of your animal’s individual history. Your pet has plenty of potential to learn and understand cues, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. I combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your pet. Sessions can be done in your home or in a public park, with personalized plans to fit your pet’s needs and your lifestyle. Sessions are 60 minutes long and cost $50. If you are hoping for more than one session, feel free to sign up for multiple! After completing two sessions, your third is free. I offer sessions in the following neighborhoods: Ballard, Capitol Hill, East Lake, Fremont, Green Lake, Hawthorne Hills, Lake City, Laurelhurst, Maple Leaf, Phinney Ridge, Queen Anne, Ravenna, University District, and Wallingford. Visit My Schedule to see my availability!

WALKING TRAINING SESSION

If you have a busy schedule and are looking for someone who will work with your dog to polish up on some of those basic manners-this is a great option! For this service, I will go on an hour walk with your dog where we will work on training. Sessions cost $40 and if you sign up for two sessions, your third session is free! We will practice loose leash walking, sit, wait, and/or other basic manners you would like your dog to improve on. After our walk, I will send a detailed report outlining what we worked on together (within 24 hours). I offer sessions in the following neighborhoods: Ballard, Capitol Hill, East Lake, Fremont, Green Lake, Hawthorne Hills, Lake City, Laurelhurst, Maple Leaf, Phinney Ridge, Queen Anne, Ravenna, University District, and Wallingford. Visit: My Schedule to see my availability!

REACTIVE ROVER

Does your dog bark, lunge, growl, snap, or bite other dogs, bikes, children, etc.? Reactive rover is a series of three, one hour, private sessions where will we focus on counter conditioning, desensitization, and learning how to manage your dog better on walks. Reactive dogs are often misunderstood by their owners and also are likely to cause a lot of frustration. In this series, we will talk about ways to make walks less stressful and discuss ways you can enjoy spending time with your dog. At this time, I am not meeting with dogs who have a bite history of a level 4 or higher on humans (see Ian Dunbar's bite scale if you're unsure or email, pawsitivemethods1@gmail.com, if you have questions).
