Wayne and Carolyn Shaffer, the owners of pawsitivemethod.com, are the sole owners of the information collected on this site.

How we collect information, and what we do with it.

We use the information that we collect to process your order, provide you with the information that you have requested, and to improve our services. We never sell, rent, lease or otherwise provide identifiable information to third parties. We may use outside services, such as PayPal, to process your order. These other sites will have their own privacy policies, we encourage you to review them.

Registration

In order to use some portions of this Web site, a you may be required complete a registration form. During registration a user may be required to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to contact the user about services on our site for which they have expressed interest. It is optional for the user to provide demographic information (such as income level and gender), and unique identifiers (such as, username and password) to use the general features of this site, but some areas, like our forum, may require the information to function, users are encouraged to provide necessary information so we can provide a more secure and personalized experience on our site.

Orders

We request information from the user on our order form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the information may be used to contact the user. It is our current policy to use PayPal to process all financial information. We do not keep this type of information on our server(s).

Requests for Information

We log IP Addresses, and the time/ date information on our Contact Us and On Line assistance forms. This information is transmitted using Internet email and may expose your IP address to outside individuals. This address is generally assigned by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) each time you connect to the Internet. Under normal circumstances this information cannot be used to identify you personally, but does disclose your ISP and general location to us. This is almost always the case with Internet mail.

Website Tracking

We use sitemeter.com to provide us with user tracking information. This information contains a variety of components including the number of visitors to our site, the entry and exit pages and other general information. We encourage you to visit their website to review their privacy policy and for more infomation on what kinds of information they collect.

Profiles

We may store information that we collect through cookies, log files, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. To help us tailor the site to a user's preference, we may combine information about the purchasing habits of users with similar information from our partners or other third party marketing data to create a personalized user profile. A profile is stored information that we may keep on individual users that details their preferences. In order for this Web site to properly fulfill its obligation to users it may be necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from 3rd party sources. From time-to-time our site may request information from users via surveys. We may, from time to time, publish announcements or newsletters. If you wish to subscribe to these services, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. The subscription process is entirely optional. pawsitivemethods.com does not share this information with outside parties. Occasionally some of your personal information may be viewable, such as your name and address on an envelope, but such instances occur only as necessary.

Service Announcements

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.

Customer Service

We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the users wishes.

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information

If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable information. Although some areas of our site allow users to change this information themselves, this can also be done by sending us mail at the address listed above.

Choices/Opting out
