Staff Conduct
Staff of Pawsitive Methods will conduct themselves in a responsible and dignified manner representing the best in Canine care and education and shall encourage other persons to conduct themselves in a simular manner.
Animal Care
Animals in our care will receive the best care and training that we are capable of providing.
Educational Limits
If a staff person is not qualified to take appropriate action when dealing with an animal in our care, reguardless of the situation, we will immediately refer the issue to more qualified persons AND seek to gain appropriate training so that the situation can be properly addressed in the future.
Staff will seek and take advantage of educational opportunites in an effort to improve their skills.
Staff will seek and take advantage of educational opportunites to obtain cross training in other areas of animal care and training.
Decision Processes
The decision process shall consider the training and care of the animal before any monitary considerations.
Treatment of Others
Staff of Pawsitive Methods will endeavor to treat each client with dignity and respect and shall encourage others to do likewise.
Staff of Pawsitive Methods will not speak in a negative manner of other techniques or processes but will instead inform persons of the benefits of our methods.
Adhearance to Laws
Staff will obey laws concerning animals and report violations to appropriate authorities.
Staff will advocate humane treatment of all animals.
Duty to community
Staff will attempt to further the promise of our mission by performing volunteer and/ or free and/ or low cost services for the betterment of the animals in the community.
